A digital Snickers for your AI

Snickers turned its candy bar into a prompt for chatbots — a rare case where AI in advertising is not decoration but the ad medium itself.

A digital Snickers for your AI — now that is what we call a native integration.

Snickers took its long-running idea “You’re not you when you’re hungry” and found an unexpectedly perfect sequel for it. Now your AI can be hungry too.

In its new Hungr.AI campaign, the brand suggests “feeding” a neural network a digital Snickers when it starts hallucinating, agreeing with everything too eagerly or simply giving a strange answer. The user visits the website, copies the Digital Snickers and sends it straight into the AI chat.

A candy bar that is actually a prompt

The most interesting part is that the digital bar is actually a prompt. It makes the model reconsider its previous answer and rephrase it. In other words, the Snickers product literally became part of the interaction with an LLM.

The chain continues in the physical world: users in the US could get a real Snickers via DoorDash — 3,000 bars were set aside for the promotion.

The result is a rare example of AI in an advertising campaign that is neither decoration nor an image generator, but the ad medium itself.
